What is Micro COB LED Display
Micro COB LED Display is an advanced display technology that utilizes a cutting-edge LED packaging method. LED chips are directly mounted onto the substrate on the back of the circuit board, with ultrasonic welding used for lead bonding of the LED chip. Resin glue then encapsulates the lamp position, protecting against moisture, dust, and physical damage.
COB LED integrates multiple chips directly onto a PCB. Flip-chip packaging eliminates gold wires, enabling better heat dissipation and finer pixels. The flip-chip approach enhances heat dissipation, light efficiency, and lifespan — the same technology powering Sony’s Crystal LED and Samsung’s The Wall. COB delivers exceptional brightness through densely packed chips while micro LEDs surpass in contrast and color precision.

Larger Viewing Angle
COB packaging uses the class of surface luminescence, providing a vertical and horizontal bidirectional 170° wide viewing angle with no color deviation from any angle. This ensures the image remains clear and consistent regardless of where the audience is positioned.
